Greg Highberger first joined the Lime Rock Partners team in July 2006 in the firm’s Westport office and is now a Managing Director in the firm’s Houston office. Prior to joining Lime Rock, Greg was an investment banking analyst in the Global Energy Group of Credit Suisse. He is a graduate of Boston College (B.S.) and Harvard Business School (M.B.A.).
Since joining the Lime Rock Partners team, Greg has played a critical role in investigating and executing oilfield service and E&P investment opportunities in North America and internationally. He currently serves on the board of directors of A&B Valve, Athena Energy, Axis Energy Services, CrownRock Non-Op, and Rod and Tubing Services. He previously served on the board of directors of Basin Properties, Capstone Natural Resources, Capstone Natural Resources II, GEODynamics, SDI Gas, Shelf Drilling, Silvertip Completion Services, TAW Energy Services, and VEDCO Holdings. He also has been particularly involved in Lime Rock Partners’ investments in CrownRock Minerals, Iracore International, and Laricina Energy.
Andrew Gautier-Winther joined the Lime Rock Partners team in 2012 and is now a Managing Director in the firm’s Houston office. Prior to joining Lime Rock, Andrew was an analyst in the Houston based Oil & Gas Group of Lazard Frères where he worked on M&A and restructuring transactions. He is a graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (B.S.).
Since joining the Lime Rock Partners team, Andrew has played a critical role in investigating and executing oilfield service and E&P investment opportunities in North America and internationally. He currently serves on the board of directors of A&B Valve, Athena Energy, Prairie Energy, and San Jacinto Minerals, and previously served on the board of directors of Airis, Basin Properties, Silixa, TGT Oilfield Services, and Wayfinder Resources. Andrew has also been particularly involved in Lime Rock Partners’ investments in Cor4 Oil, Endurance Resources, Iracore International, Laricina Energy, PanGeo Subsea, PDC Mountaineer, Prime Rock Resources, Vantage Energy, VEDCO Holdings, and VES International.
Jeffrey Scofield joined the Lime Rock Partners team in 2005. He became a Managing Director in 2011 and Chief Operating Officer of the Lime Rock Partners investment team in 2015. Currently based in Houston, he has also worked in Lime Rock’s Westport and London offices. He has led opportunities in the E&P and oilfield service sectors in North America and internationally. Prior to joining Lime Rock, Jeffrey held positions in the investment banking groups of Harrison Lovegrove & Co., Credit Suisse, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University (B.A.).
Jeffrey serves on the board of directors of Athena Energy, Axis Energy Services, OiLSERV, Prairie Energy, San Jacinto Minerals II, San Jacinto Minerals III, and San Jacinto Minerals IV. He also serves on the board of directors for Civeo Corporation (NYSE: CVEO) and the Advisory Board of the Children’s Museum of Houston.
Thierry Pilenko is a recognized leader in the energy sector with more than 40 years of experience in technology and management. From 2017 to 2019, he was the Executive Chairman of TechnipFMC plc, a project management and equipment company formed by the merger of Technip and FMC Technologies. Prior to this, he was Chairman and CEO of Technip SA.
Before joining Technip in 2007, Thierry was Chairman and CEO of Veritas DGC, a seismic services company based in Houston, where he managed its merger with Compagnie Générale de Géophysique (CGG). He also held various management and executive positions with Schlumberger, starting as a Geologist in 1984, and holding several international positions in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the US. Throughout his career, he has served on the boards of Veritas DGC, CGGVeritas, Technip SA, Peugeot SA, Hercules Offshore, TechnipFMC, Valaris plc, Trident Energy, Ensign Natural Resources, P6 Technologies and Arkema SA.
Thierry is partner at the VC firm Tupper Lake partners and the founder of Pil & Co LLC, a consulting firm in strategy and leadership. He holds Engineering degrees from France’s Nancy School of Geology (1981) and the French Petroleum Institute (IFP) School (1982).
Manny Sirgo has over 48 years of experience in all facets of the U.S. oil and gas industry. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a long-time member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Manny began his career with Exxon on the King Ranch in South Texas, returning to the Permian Basin in the 1980s as a bank engineer for the First National Bank of Midland.
Manny went on to form, manage, and successfully exit several private independent oil and gas companies with operating areas located in the SE New Mexico Delaware Basin, Northwest Shelf, Central Basin Platform, as well as the Midland and San Juan Basins.
In late 2012, Manny began a relationship with Lime Rock Capital Partners and participated in the formation and executive management of portfolio companies Endurance I, Endurance II, Prime Rock Resources, and Wayfinder Resources. These companies focused on the Delaware Basin in SE New Mexico and Texas, the SCOOP/STACK, and the Austin Chalk, employing both operated and non-operated strategies — achieving successful exits in 2016, 2017, and 2025.
Manny is currently an independent investor located in Midland, Texas.
Stephen Goldfarb was previously CFO at Ensign Natural Resources, where he helped build the company from inception through several acquisitions and a $3 billion asset sale. Prior to that, he held senior finance roles at WildHorse Resource Development and Memorial Resource Development, where he was involved in IPOs, M&A activity, and capital structure planning. Stephen began his career in investment banking and private equity and holds an MBA from Stanford and a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Garner Haydell is a co-founder and the Chief Operating Officer of Athena Energy Partners, bringing 20 years of experience in both E&P and oilfield services. Before AEP, he was Vice President of Drilling & Completions at Ensign Natural Resources, where he managed drilling, completions, and workovers across 130,000 net acres in the Eagle Ford and supported all operational aspects of acquisitions. Prior to Ensign, he led drilling and completions for Murphy Oil’s North American unconventional assets, overseeing over $1 billion in capital across the Eagle Ford, Montney, and Duvernay plays. Garner began his career in completions and stimulation engineering roles at Southwestern Energy and Halliburton. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
